The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or plural.

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions: Country refers to Missouri, United States. “Cristen Jester,” “I,” “me,” “my,” or “the Site” refers to Cristen Jester, the individual who owns and operates this website. Device means any device that can access the Service, such as a computer, cellphone, or tablet. Goods refer to the digital guides, print books, and other items offered for sale on the Site. Orders mean a request by you to purchase Goods from the Site. Service refers to the website, cristenjester.com. You means the individual accessing or using the Service.

Acknowledgment

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of this Site. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part, please don’t use the Site.

You represent that you are over the age of 18, or are using the Site with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian.

Your use of the Site is also conditioned on your acceptance of the Privacy Policy, which describes how your information is collected and used. Please read it carefully.

Placing Orders for Goods

By placing an order through the Site, you warrant that you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract, and that any payment information you provide is accurate and belongs to you.

Digital Guides

Digital guides are delivered as instant downloads after purchase. Because digital content is delivered immediately, once you’ve downloaded a digital guide, that purchase is final and non-refundable, except where required by law or where a guide is significantly not as described. If something’s gone wrong with a download, email hello@cristenjester.com and I’ll make it right.

Print Books

Print books are either shipped directly or fulfilled through a print-on-demand partner. Order cancellation, availability, and pricing are subject to the same terms as below. If you’d like to return a print book, it must be returned in the same condition you received it, unused and with original packaging, within a reasonable time of delivery; email hello@cristenjester.com to arrange a return.

Order Cancellation

I reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order for reasons including but not limited to goods availability, pricing or description errors, or suspected fraud.

Availability, Errors, and Inaccuracies

I do my best to keep prices, descriptions, and availability accurate and current, but errors can happen. I reserve the right to correct any errors and to change or update information at any time without prior notice.

Pricing

Prices are subject to change at any time prior to your order being placed. If a change affects an order you’ve already placed, I’ll let you know before proceeding.

Payments

Purchases are processed securely through Squarespace’s payment system, including Stripe and PayPal. I never see or store your full payment details — that information is handled directly by these payment processors.

Intellectual Property

All original content on this site — writing, images, guides, and design — is the property of Cristen Jester and is protected by copyright and other applicable laws. Please don’t reproduce, distribute, or use this content without permission.

Links to Other Websites

This Site may contain links to third-party websites that I don’t own or control, including retailer and affiliate links. I’m not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party site. I encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of any site you visit.

Termination

I may suspend or restrict your access to the Site at any time, for any reason, including a breach of these Terms.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, my liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Site or purchase of Goods is limited to the amount you actually paid through the Site.

I may update these Terms from time to time. If I make a material change, I’ll post the update here with a new “last updated” date. Continuing to use the Site after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
